Pilot Countries
Hospitals in four countries are assisting in the development of
the CFHI, either by acting as pilot sites for the Initiative as a
whole, or by trialling specific assessment 'tools' and providing
guidance.
As the Initiative is developing to be globally relevant and of benefit
to children, parents and health workers anywhere, pilot sites have
been chosen in countries with very different cultures, economies,
social structures, health systems and difficulties.
The pilot sites for this first phase of the CFHI are:
Kosova
Gjilan Hospital
Pakistan
Children's Hospital (Pakistan Institute for Medical Sciences), Islamabad
Uganda
Mulago Hospital Complex, Kampala
United Kingdom
Barnsley, District General Hospital
Bridgend, Princess of Wales Hospital
Derby, Derbyshire Children's Hospital
Ulster, Community and Hospital Trust
Royal Hospital for Sick Children, York Hill, Glasgow
